#Versions and release patterns

AFFiNE is releasing a major version every 6 weeks and minor versions biweekly.

In a new major stable version, new "epic" level features will be released and there will be a launching week introducing what we have to offer after a 6-week sprint.

As one can tell from our releasing tags on GitHub, we are now maintaining three channels for AFFiNE releases:

• Stable, manually tested with our members. Suggested for daily use.

• Beta, usually not released from public channel. Built purposely for experimental features.

• Canary, auto-released daily with latest canary branch updates. Tested by units and scripts. Suggested for tech preview.
