Versions and release patterns

AFFiNE is releaseing a major version every 6 weeks and minor versions biweekly.

In a new major stable version, new “epic” level features will be released and there will be a launching week introducing what we have to offer after a 6-week sprint.

As one can tell from our releasing tags on GitHub, we are now maintaining three channels for AFFiNE releases:

• Stable, manually tested with our members. Suggested for daily use.

• Canary, auto-released daily with lastest master branch updates. Tested by units and scripts. Suggested for tech preview.

• Internal, usually not released from public channel. Built on purposed for experimental features.

Also, bug fix and minor improvement will be given out in the biweek version. The release time of the biweekly version is not fixed as the tests or cheery-pick of
